The actress from the series ‘General Hospital’ was found dead in a field behind a business in San Jacinto, authorities said.
Actress Robyn Bernard, best known for her role on General Hospital, was found dead in a field behind a business in San Jacinto, California.
She passed away at the age of 64.
Police discovered the actress’ body Tuesday morning in an “open field behind a business” in San Jacinto, California, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Office press release.
She was pronounced dead at 4:08 am local time.
The cause of death has not yet been determined and toxicology results will take several weeks.
Police say they are not treating the death as suspicious.
Bernard is best known for her long-running role on the soap opera General Hospital, which follows the lives of the citizens of the fictional town of Port Charles in upstate New York.
Robyn played the character of Terry Brock, the daughter of DL Brock, one of the main villains. She appeared in 145 episodes over six years.
The deceased played for the last time in 2002 in “Voices from High School”.

Patrol deputies were called to the location and conducted a preliminary investigation.
“There was no evidence of foul play,” sheriff’s Sgt. Deirdre Vickers said.
It was unclear why or exactly how long Bernard had been at the location. Detectives are still investigating, and the cause of her death has not been released.
Bernard is survived by her father and two sisters.
