General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the proverbial poop is about to hit the fan in the land of Port Charles.
The soap’s preview for the week of February 17-21 just dropped and it provides some interesting insight into what fans should expect over the next five days.
It looks like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will target a new victim as of the Monday, February 17 episode.
The preview shows clips of the criminal getting a new injection of digitalis ready, as Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) seemingly fills Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in on the havoc Cyrus has wreaked while ‘volunteering’ at the hospital and Turning Woods.
Still, as the scenes of the preview unravel, a clip is shown of Cyrus finding Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in his hideaway house, and he also shows up at Elizabeth’s door.
Both Joss and Elizabeth look terrified upon his arrival. A gun will be fired (multiple times) at the close of the preview, so it’s not hard for fans to deduce that Cyrus’s days might be numbered.
Whether it’s a loved one looking to “save” Elizabeth or Josslyn, someone will come to either woman’s rescue, and possibly end his reign of terror for good.
Here are three suspects behind the gun:
Suspect #1 – Jack Brennan Makes Good On His Promise
If Cyrus catches Josslyn at his hideaway house, there’s a good chance he could attack her.
GH previews are always out of whack, so it’s hard to say if Cyrus finds Josslyn first, or if he approaches Elizabeth at her house first.
Regardless, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is the one who has needled Joss into investigating Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) stabbing as a part of a “WSB Agent test”, so if he offers the breadcrumbs that lead her to Cyrus’ hideaway house, he’ll surely follow her to make sure she’s safe.
If Cyrus attacks, Jack might be there to stop him in his tracks by shooting him.
Suspect #2 – Lucky Spencer Saves The Day
Still, Joss has been pretty good at thinking on her feet lately, so could she talk her way out of a dangerous situation?
Cyrus has been very wary of Elizabeth lately and believes she’s the reason everyone is questioning his intentions right now.
She will likely be his target on Monday’s show, so could Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) be there to save her day and solidify an L&L romantic reunion if Cyrus attacks?
Suspect #3 – Jason Morgan’s Revenge
Then again, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) also has a knack of knowing when there’s danger on the horizon and is Port Charles’ #1 hero.
What if Jason overhears what Josslyn is up to, follows her, and shoots Cyrus?
He won’t only be saving Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) daughter, but also possibly exposing Brennan’s plan that opened Joss up to danger.
As Carly and Brennan are heating up, learning the WSB agent was recruiting her daughter for the agency will surely blow up their romance.
Still, Jason shooting Cyrus will also turn into a little justice for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason’s son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonzyzn).
General Hospital spoilers suggest some massive drama is in store for fans over the next few days as Cyrus’ digitalis story wraps up.
