General Hospital’s Kristen Vaganos Talks Single Molly’s New Dating Life – What’s Next After TJ Breakup

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) is facing a major turning point now that she’s moved out of the apartment she previously shared with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow). The shelves are now comically bare at TJ’s place – perhaps as a reminder of just how big of a role Molly played in his life.

TJ and Molly were high school sweethearts who thought they’d be together forever, but forever is an awfully long time on a soap!

It’s time for a shakeup, so it’s easy to see why GH writers moved ahead with this split.

This is a massive change for both Molly and TJ, but we want to focus on Molly’s end of things for a moment.

In an interview with SOD, Kristen Vaganos acknowledged that this is a huge deal for her character, who’s never really been single as an adult before.

Vaganos admitted she’s just as curious as fans about what the next phase is going to look like for Molly.

Since Molly has been taken to this “rock bottom,” Vaganos suggested there were multiple possibilities for the road ahead.

“She could really sort of do a 180 and act in ways we’ve never seen from her before and become a little unhinged just because she’s lost so much.

Or she could stick to her ways and react in a very Type A way,” Vaganos said.

Although Kristen Vaganos doesn’t know for certain what the writers have in mind, she’s eager to see how Molly handles this new chapter.

As Molly ends her domestic partnership and finds a path forward, we’ll see how long it takes for her to fill the void TJ left behind.

“I am curious to see what dating looks like for Molly, if that is what she does next,” Vaganos said.

Of course, Vaganos acknowledged that it could take some time before Molly gets into another serious relationship.

This could be Molly’s chance to embrace her independence and just do her own thing for a while.

That said, soap characters don’t usually sulk for too long after breakups.

Molly has already had some on-screen chemistry tests with both Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), so the show may be thinking about some hookup possibilities.
