General Hospital Specs: Alum Kelly Thiebaud Wants To Return To The Soap
While Kelly did land a new role in the audio soap Montecito, it’s just not the same as being in Port Charles everyday.
Kelly left her job at General Hospital and her life behind in Los Angeles for a new one in London back in 2023.
However, Kelly recently took to her Instagram account to share a photo of where she was this time last year. She was living in London with her fiance but her life was upended after a series of unfortunate events.
Kelly wrote, “A year ago, we said goodbye to our wonderful area in North London, Primrose Hill. Whiskey injured his leg and we were awaiting surgery. We took one last stroll to the park we loved so much and said goodbye.”
“I didn’t know at that moment that two months later we’d be on a plane back to America. I put all my belongings in storage, which is still there, and headed back to the states with nothing.”
In 2023, Kelly hinted that she wasn’t happy with her character Britt Westbourne’s death.
General Hospital Specs: What’s Next For Kelly Thiebaud?
When asked about Britt’s death scenes, Kelly explained to Michael Fairman TV that year, “And with the Hook, at the end of it all, I didn’t mind it.
I was trying to find where it would allow me to show the audience that, at the at moment, she was choosing to let this killer her instead of Huntingdon’s.”
“And maybe it came off that way; I don’t think it really did, but I was trying to find a way to say that, but it wasn’t in the words. There wasn’t really a moment where I could. So you know, I thought Kathleen [Gati,Obrecht] did a wonderful job. There were some things about my performance that I would totally change.”
Now, whether or not the writers of the show do bring back Britt remains to be seen. So far Kelly herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
Then again, General Hospital fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
