The little town can be a revolving door when it comes to characters: they come, they go, only to return once more! So, who would GH viewers love to see head back on the canvas in the new year?
GH Spoilers: Shocking Return #1 – Spencer Cassadine
GH spoilers indicate that while there is little-to-zero chance that Nicholas Chavez would return to reprise his Spencer Cassadine role (as his career in Hollywood has exploded), there’s always the opportunity to recast an actor and bring Spencer back to the land of Port Charles.
GH Spoilers: Shocking Return #3 – Morgan Corinthos
GH spoilers hint that Bryan Craig’s one-episode run back in August was simply not enough for Morgan Corinthos fans! As Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is set to exit storylines in the new year, and there’s a good chance that he may be presumed dead, how will Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) endure losing another child? This would be the perfect opportunity to bring Morgan “back from the dead” to help ease the pain of all this.
Well, this one is a no-brainer considering how Sam McCall fans banded together in September of this year when the news hit that Kelly Monaco was exiting the show and her character was slated to be killed off (which is exactly what happened in early November.)
Sam not only passed away, but Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) all had scenes with the character after she died, so it would be very challenging for any writer to craft up a story for her return. With that said, this is the land of soaps, where anything is possible.
GH Spoilers: Shocking Return #4 – Jasper “Jax” Jacks
Much like Nicholas Chavez, the chances of Ingo Rademacher returning to GH are slim to none, but for very different reasons.
Still, stranger things have happened in daytime drama! Ingo is a polarizing figure, so if he were to return, it would be shocking indeed – not to mention the fact that he’s currently still engaged in a legal battle with ABC. But could the character be recast? That’s always an option, right?!

Actress Vanessa Marcil always teases a Brenda Barrett return to PC, but could it happen in 2025? While Carly would vehemently disagree, Brenda is one of the biggest loves of Sonny’s life, and the chemistry between the two, even after all these years, would be a nice thing to witness.
