General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that an impending revelation for the fiery mama bear Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), is on the horizon.
Brennan’s Been Taking A Big Gamble Trying To Date The Mother Of His WSB Recruit
Brennan is clearly taking a significant risk by pursuing a relationship with Josslyn’s mother given the current situation.
He has already entangled Josslyn in the chaotic web of Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) affairs, which ultimately resulted in her taking drastic deadly action against him at the cabin.
To make matters worse, Brennan went to great lengths to protect Josslyn by framing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), adding yet another layer of deception to their already complicated lives.
Additionally, there’s the troubling issue of Brennan enlisting Josslyn into the WSB and compelling her to deceive Carly about her involvement in the training program.
When McKenna was asked about the precarious position Brennan has created for himself, he noted that it’s challenging to grasp his character’s motivations, saying “what the hell was he thinking?!”
Brennan May Be In Over His Head
Carly is definitely not going to be pleased about this… Jack is really diving in— well, I just hope he doesn’t get in too deep!” McKenna confessed.
Brennan has his own compelling reasons for wanting Josslyn on board, convinced she can take on a vital role at the WSB, and for a specific mission.
With that perspective, Chris McKenna pointed out that Brennan is making tough choices – even if it jeopardizes his romantic future-he came close to losing Carly already, for a different reason.
“For the greater good, he must take the necessary steps, even if it means potentially risking [his relationship with Carly] or betraying her,” Brennan explained.
It seems there’s still a long journey ahead in this GH plot, and Chris McKenna is uncertain about how it will ultimately unfold, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated.

Not only might she end up despising Brennan for the way he’s played with her daughter’s emotions, but she’ll also be furious with herself.
She should have known Brennan was nothing but a lying liar who lies. After all, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) repeatedly warned her against trusting Brennan, but she chose to ignore his advice!
