Will Ric Succomb to Kristina’s Crazy?
General Hospital’s Ric is in critical condition in GH, while his brother Sonny has a heart condition. It feels like these two stories are about to collide very soon. (FIND OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING WEEK OF APRIL 7 on GH, HERE)
When he was driving Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) home, they crashed, leaving Liz with a broken leg and Ric with internal bleeding and a serious head wound. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) didn’t even know if Ric would survive.
Meanwhile, Sonny’s heart keeps getting worse the more he delays his simple surgery. Could he end up needing a heart transplant? Could Ric be a match?
Molly’s Fury Could Ruin it All
If Ric does die, Sonny would have the heart he needs, but what if Ric’s next of kin refuses to let him have the heart? Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) feels she has been wronged by Sonny too many times and that he’s cost her too much. If Kristina Corinthos-Davis hadn’t gone to Ava’s hotel room to defend Sonny last summer, the fall never would have happened.
Molly put some blame on Sonny at the time when Kristina’s fate was up in the air, but now she might blame Sonny for everything that has happened with her father. If she blames her uncle for Ric’s death, she could go scorched Earth on everyone around her. Nobody would be safe from Molly’s wrath.
This would pit the Davis sisters at each other’s throats more than ever before as they both love their fathers fiercely. Molly would never forgive Kristina if she knew her sister cut the brakes and Kristina would never forgive Molly if Molly’s anger caused Sonny to die.
The high-stakes drama is right there for the taking if GH were to go this route, but we admit we would miss Ric and Ava as Rava has made GH a delight to watch since last summer. Would GH really go there and kill off such a long-time character? Stay tuned to find out.
