General Hospital Spoilers: Gio Is Dante & Brook Lynn’s Biological Child – Camp Fling Brought Secret Baby Cover-Up

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has been drifting aimlessly with his violin for a while now. Many GH fans have been wondering when Gio is going to get an actual storyline, but it’s finally about to get underway.

Although Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) thinks he’ll be part of Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) first pregnancy, she’s clearly had a baby before.

It was written all over Brook Lynn’s face whenever Chase mentioned them doing this for the first time together.

Gio also bonded with Brook Lynn in the kitchen back in September and commented on how she sounded exactly like his mom.

The show’s been offering up clues that Gio is Brook Lynn’s biological son, but they’re both in the dark on that so far.

Meanwhile, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) has been hovering around Gio nonstop since he showed up and seemingly has a special attachment to him.

Every time Lois talks about Gio’s past and deceased parents, she seems to be withholding information.

Plus, Lois became uncomfortable when Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) was talking about Lois getting her first grandchild.

It’s easy to see that Gio is Lois’ grandson – and based on a new hint, he must be Olivia’s grandson, too.

There had already been speculation on social media about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) possibly being Gio’s biological father.

Now we’ve pretty much got paternity confirmation thanks to Dante’s recent conversation with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

In the December 4 episode, it was revealed that Dante had a fling with Brook Lynn at camp when they were younger.

It sounds like Brook Lynn had a surprise pregnancy as a result of that fling and gave the baby up for adoption without Dante’s knowledge.

Lois most likely handled the adoption and assured Brook Lynn that the baby went to a good home.

Brook Lynn must’ve never figured out that Gio is actually her biological child.

Of course, Lois was presumably in a tight spot once Gio became an orphan again.

Although Lois didn’t want to blow up lives or change Gio’s view of the mom who raised him, she no doubt felt obligated to keep him close and ultimately got Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to pay for his musical education.

However, Lois’ cover-up can only last so long – especially in the soap world! It’s just a matter of time until the truth comes out about Dante and Brook Lynn being biological parents.
