General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Visits Michael In Germany – Sparks Fuel Reunion Potential?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Willow Tait-Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is slated to visit Michael Corinthos (last played by Chad Duell) in Germany during the week of April 21-25.
From the sounds of it, Willow is looking for closure, but could the two end up feeling sparks?
Michael Recast Potential
Ever since actor Robert Adamson (ex-Young and the Restless Noah Newman), who filled in for Chad Duell as Michael now again, jumped on X (formerly known as Twitter) to state how frustrated he was about not being invited to read for the role of Michael, fans have been buzzing about a Michael recast.
It seems as if the soap is going the recast route, and Duell is not open to returning. With that said, there’s been speculation that Drew Garrett, who played Michael Corinthos from 2009 to 2010 (before Duell entered the role), might reprise his old GH character, thanks to a recent visit to the ‘State of Mind’ podcast, hosted by Maurice Benard (GH’s Sonny Corinthos).
As well as actor Rory Gibson, who also once played Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless, has been added to the possible recast list.
As the actor follows some GH-related players, including Katelyn MacMullen and Holly Gagnier (ex-Jennifer Smith and acting coach to multiple GH stars) on Instagram, and many have connected the dots.
A new actor playing the role of Michael emphasizes a new beginning for the character. It also could signal a new opportunity for the Millow super couple.
The Sasha Corbin Pregnancy Factor
Michael almost losing his life could’ve shifted his perspective drastically. He obviously misses his children, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko), and he may realize just how important his family is.
Michael was on the verge of forgiving Willow for her affair before his accident. If she showed any remorse and wanted a reunion, Michael would likely be open to it.
Even more interesting is that Michael did have a one-night stand with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) in the aftermath of Willow’s affair with Drew, but has kept it hidden. Partly for fear of losing his children in a custody battle and partly because of his accident and the condition he’s in.
How sticky would things get if Millow reunited with Willow, just as Sasha is about to give birth to his child? The secret and keeping the child’s true paternity under wraps could jeopardize Millow’s ‘happily ever after’ once the truth came out.
