General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that many fans were stunned when Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) faced a grim fate. It turns out Eden McCoy was taken aback as well when she learned her main scene partner would no longer be around!

In an interview with SOD, McCoy talked about the shock of finding out Evan Hofer was off the show.

Although McCoy was sad they wouldn’t be working together anymore, she had nothing but praise for Hofer’s work and made positive predictions about his career.

Of course, Eden McCoy also had to think about how this would affect her own future at GH.

When asked if she worried about what this meant for Josslyn’s storyline, McCoy confessed that wasn’t really the case.

“Not too much, because when I found out about his death, I also found out about everything that was coming [up for the character], which was nice,” McCoy said. “It was kind of a silver lining, because I could see where we’re going with this…”

The GH star couldn’t go into the details of what’s ahead for Josslyn, but she did leak a few hints!

Eden McCoy promised that what the writers have planned for Josslyn “is going to be really tough and challenging, but also super-cool and important…”

McCoy admitted she thinks she’ll love being part of this story, so she’s clearly excited about what’s in the works.

Josslyn just told Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that she can’t let this go until she gets answers, so that could play a big part in the drama to come.

There’s already an investigation underway, but Josslyn may conduct one of her own and try to nail down those answers she’s seeking.

Will Josslyn eventually figure out Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is responsible? Could that lead to Josslyn going after justice herself?

Time will tell, but it’s great that the show still has some interesting stuff on the way for Josslyn now that Dex is gone.
