Now, letâs talk about the latest buzz surrounding Sister Wives. In Touch Weekly has stood by a story they published in the fall of 2024, claiming that Janelle Brown has already sold her share of Coyote Pass.
Do we believe this? Well, In Touch is sticking with their story this week, and theyâre claiming that half of Coyote Pass has already been sold. According to them, the only remaining owners of the land are Mary, Robin, and Cody.
Now, I didnât pay too much attention to this initially, but itâs resurfacing again this week, and the story is getting a lot of attention.
Back in November 2024, In Touch published an article saying that Janelle and Cody had settled Janelleâs share of Coyote Pass for $340,000.
This comes a year after Christine did the same with her portion of the property, although her name is still on the deed publicly. Itâs a bit confusing, right?
The buzz is that in the next nine episodes, when Sister Wives returns on April 20th, we will see confirmation that Coyote Pass has been partially sold, with Janelle officially out of the picture.
Thereâs also talk that sheâs using the money for her business, Toff Farms, and expanding there. However, itâs important to note that Mary hasnât sold her share yet, so weâll still see what happens with that.
Again, this story first came out in November, and I didnât pay much attention to it back then, but now itâs circulating again. People are saying that because Mary and Janelle have both teased some kind of resolution around Coyote Pass, In Touch is saying that this is the resolutionâthey scooped the story first.
According to them, Janelle sold her portion for around $340,000, which makes sense when you consider that Coyote Pass is valued at $1.3 million according to the 2024 tax assessment. The $340,000-$350,000 price tag per person seems reasonable.
Weâll likely see this storyline play out in a scene from the trailer, where Janelle meets with Mary on Coyote Pass to discuss the situation.
Janelle will likely say something like, âHereâs whatâs going to happen, Mary. Iâm selling my spot. Iâm done with it. You can stick around if you want, but Iâm out.â Then Mary will probably respond with, âIâm so mad, Janelle. Iâm going to lawyer up.â But honestly, I think itâs just drama.
Weâve all watched these people for years, and we know their characters by now. Mary does a lot of talking, but very little action. It took her how many years to move? So, I wouldnât be surprised if this is just more of the same from Maryâlots of talking and not much happening.
Meanwhile, Cody is likely making decisions about the property and working with contractors to get things done. I imagine heâs thinking, âLook, this is what I want done here, and hereâs what I want here.â Mary will probably just have her little barn-dominium, while Cody and Robin will be over here with their kids, living their lives.
It seems like Codyâs thinking, âWeâre going to have fun, and Maryâs just going to stay on the sidelines, being our âfriend.ââ After all, Cody has said he doesnât need another enemy, so heâs playing Mary like a violin, just like he always has.
In my opinion, weâre going to see more of this dynamic play out in the upcoming part two of Sister Wives. And I still donât get why Robin is asking Cody if heâs sure he doesnât want to marry anyone else.
Maybe in part two, weâll see Robin and Mary try to work things out or have some kind of discussion. I could totally see Mary falling for some of Codyâs or Robinâs schemes just to keep things going with the show.
What do you think about all of this? Iâd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. If you enjoyed this video, please like and share itâIâd really appreciate that.
