Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) from General Hospital (GH) was out and about and decided to drop into a restaurant for a bite to eat.
However, instead of a quiet meal, he bumped into old friends and ended up having a blast with them.
Running Into Old Friends
There’s nothing quite like bumping into friends when you least expect to. On April 3, Maurice walked into a restaurant, and on Instagram, the ABC star told his fans he was checking the place out.
He said, “I’m gonna have some food, [but] just gonna check it out.” Then, as he turned, he saw familiar faces. The music was Matthew Wilde’s “Break My Stride,” which gave ambiance to the story.
“Oh my…what the heck, man?” the ABC veteran asked, as greetings rang out. Other people there were tucking into some yummy-looking food. “I didn’t know [you were here],” he said. “I was just coming in…and you guys are all here,” adding, “It’s like amazing.” Well, it was amazing because his friends all have GH connections.
In his caption, the real-life Sonny Corinthos tagged everyone and said:

Fans Are Familiar With His friends
Of course, daytime drama fans had no problems in picking out the people in the restaurant. Josh Swickard is, of course, known for his role on the show for playing the role of Detective Harrison Chase.
Meanwhile, Maurice Benard would know Dom Zamprogna, who joined the cast of ABC’s daytime soap opera as Dante Falconeri. Hardly any fans need an introduction to Lisa Locicero (Olivia Quartermaine). What a huge coincidence!
