Sister Wives Dayton Brown’s Current living situation – 2025!!

Is Dayton living in an RV at Robyn and Kody’s new McMansion, or did he move back into the house? Did he choose to live in the camper?

I remember hearing rumors one or two years ago that he was “off-grid”—so I don’t know if that’s what they’re calling “off-grid,” living in an RV in Robyn’s driveway. I don’t know the full situation. Maybe he just wanted to be independent and Robyn didn’t want to let go? I don’t know.

But we’re going to talk about all of it today. And before we get into it—welcome or welcome back to my channel. I don’t know how you found this, but I’m so glad you’re here. So here’s the infamous RV spotted in the background of a few scenes from Season 17 and Season 18. We haven’t seen it yet in Season 19, but there’s still a Part 2 coming… and more episodes on the way. But yes—this is the RV in Robyn and Kody’s driveway. This is the RV Dayton was living in during the filming of Seasons 17 and 18.

What’s interesting is that the RV shows up in the 3D photo view of Robyn and Kody’s Flagstaff home when it was listed for sale just a few months ago. So, Dayton’s RV was still in the driveway.

And just look at how trashy that yard looked. I said it: Kody, you’re out there cutting trees—your butt needs to be pushing a lawn mower. You need a damn lawn mower. Some of those weeds gotta go, man. What are y’all even doing? You couldn’t even clean up for the listing photos? Lazy.

Anyway—now there are recent rumors floating around again that Dayton moved back in with his dad.

I don’t think that’s true, because I found Dayton Brown’s name on some of the new paperwork for the million-dollar house they just bought—alongside Robyn’s mother. So that’s the tea. Sip it.

Let’s go a little deeper. The last article I found with a short update on Dayton was posted in late January this year. It was a piece from TV Shows Ace titled “Why Sister Wives Fans Think Kody Brown Abandoned Dayton.”

Basically, fans suspect Kody abandoned Robyn’s oldest child, Dayton. Kody got involved in all five of her kids’ lives when they married, including Dayton. Robyn has said Dayton has Asperger’s and seemed to need more support than her other kids.

He was accepted into college in Arizona, which was supposedly a big reason they chose Flagstaff. Robyn seemed overly protective of Dayton—helicopter mom style.

There was even a scene when Robyn’s ex agreed to let Kody adopt the kids, and Kody was ecstatic—but Dayton was devastated. Kody celebrated with the girls, but Dayton was clearly hurt.

In a recent episode, Robyn and Kody mentioned an ATV accident Dayton had years ago, claiming he was with friends at the time. But Kody’s daughter, McKelti, revealed it happened on a family trip, and Kody wasn’t even there.

Dayton hasn’t been seen on Sister Wives in a while. No confessionals, no scenes at home, nothing. On the January 26th episode, Robyn and Kody brought the kids to “Coyote Pass” to chop wood and paint tables—like a little bonding moment—but Dayton wasn’t there.

Fans think Kody is just done with Dayton.

A Reddit thread discussed how Dayton was living in an RV parked outside Robyn and Kody’s house. People speculated he wanted to live independently.

Paedon Brown (Christine’s son) even confirmed this in an interview with John Yates years ago—he said Dayton was living in an RV in Robyn’s driveway.

It’s strange how the show just brushes over this stuff. Dayton’s not here “because he’s with friends”? Like… okay. But no explanation.

In polygamist families, it seems like young men often get pushed aside. People even noted Solomon (the youngest) seems kind of isolated now, too.

Have you noticed Dayton’s absence? Do you think Kody played a role in that?

It’s interesting because at first, I thought maybe Dayton chose to step away from all this drama. Then I thought—maybe Robyn made the call, because Dayton is too honest. I don’t think she could coach him to say what she wants.

He’s not an actor. He’s real. And Robyn knows that. I think she realized he wouldn’t go along with her and Kody’s narrative.

So she said, “Nope. We’re not filming with him.” That’s how they made it seem.

It’s so weird. And very telling.

Shout out to the Reddit user who posted this—“Robyn Cringe #205.”

Remember Dayton’s birthday money story? From Season 2, Episode 10?

He had a jar of birthday money during their move from Utah (second big move), and Robyn said, “Maybe we can buy you some nice stuff for your new room.”

Dayton said, “Okay, maybe I can buy a video game or something.”

And she corrected him: “Or maybe a wardrobe?”

Girl… what?? Why are you trying to make this kid buy a wardrobe with his birthday money?

That’s your job!

She’s literally trying to make this child pay for furniture while keeping her own money untouched.

Like, are you serious? Is he supposed to buy a stove next so she can cook dinner for him too?

I can’t.

The comments on that scene were spot-on. Let kids be kids. He wanted to spend his birthday money on something fun—not furniture!

But Robyn? She was just looking for any way to spend less of her own money.
