At first glance, Mykelti Brown’s latest Instagram post seemed a bit scandalous. The reality star posted some photos of her family lounging in front of a sign that clearly reads, “Area closed for maintenance.”

Did she break the rules to give her children some playtime outside?

There’s more to the story than meets the eye at first glance.

“We ignored the ‘closed’ sign obviously, we needed some sun now that it’s finally made its appearance,” Mykelti began her latest Instagram post, sparking concern.

“Just kidding, the water fountain was closed. Chairs were available and open for our sun enjoyment. You can tell who the current ‘poser’ is, every time we say ‘smile for the picture’ Ace cracks wide open!” the mother of three continued, clarifying that she was just joking around. She attached photos of herself, Tony, and their three little ones enjoying the sunny day.

Mykelti’s audience members felt relieved that she wasn’t actually breaking any rules. On top of that, they felt glad to see the family of five enjoying sunny weather.

In the comments, several of Mykelti’s followers also noted her twins’ haircuts. Earlier this week, the Sister Wives star shared that Ace and Archer received their first haircut. While Tony and Mykelti loved their sons’ long locks, they decided it was time for a change.

“Their hair is gone, the first cut. They look old! Archer & Ace hate pony tails & braids but @tonychessnut and I have lived letting their hair grow out,” Mykelti shared on Instagram. “Since it’s almost summer time and I’m sure the long hair has been hot, we chopped it all off.

Now they’ve aged up, it’s cute and sad. The best part of this, was them seeing each other with the new cuts. It was adorable watching them notice the change.”
